Production In harmony with nature
Traditionally, ground cover and the use of nets against pests are used. Irrigation is carried out to save water by watering droplets. It is produced in harmony with nature, so the diversity of the ground cover plants ensures a high level of biodiversity in flora and fauna.

Traditional, ecological and organic
By traditionally avoiding pesticides and artificial fertilizers and providing open access for birds and other insectivores, the massive occurrence of pests can be avoided and removed biomass is naturally returned to the cycle of materials, so that the floors are not damaged. Because it is handpicked after the harvest, impurities introduced by this type of cultivation do not play a role.

A special region

Kampot - Region des Gourmetpfeffers
Kampot, located on the Teuk Chhou River near the Bokor National Park, has been producing what is probably the most exquisite pepper in the world for over 1000 years.
This excellent pepper has been cultivated and traditionally dried in the sun in Kampot for centuries, thanks to the exceptional local climate. Although there are different growing regions for pepper in Indochina, only pepper from this growing area develops this very special aroma.
Writings from the 13th century by a Chinese envoy in Angkor Wat already report on this extraordinary spice in the great Khmer empire.
A remedy since ancient times
Piper nigrum L. contains a multitude of valuable substances that have a positive effect on health. Pepper, therefore also a component of many stomach tonics, stimulates digestion and the flow of gastric fluids and thus supports the digestive performance of the body and ensures a healthy appetite.
Pepper supports the immune system, has a blood circulation-promoting effect, so on the one hand it warms, but on the other hand it also reduces fever. It has an anti-inflammatory effect and has germicidal properties, which means that it is still used to preserve food, but also reduces the bacterial load in fresh food and thus also prevents digestive problems. Pepper can also provide relief from bronchitis.
